Baseball, T-Ball and Cheerleading
Thursday, March 30th, 2006Run, Run, Run, that’s all I have done this week! Thankfully I’m feeling a lot better and now don’t feel as if I’m dying. Terry has baseball tonight, Cody and Sarah have T-ball and I’m just waiting for cheerleading to start.
So this year I jumped in feet first without testing the water. I’ve taken on Policy Council for Butler County’s Head Start Program. Let me tell, that is a mess all of it’s own. I signed my 2 oldest boys up for Baseball/T-ball and Sarah decided at the first practice she wants to play also. Sarah is also signed up for cheerleading and Girl Scouts. So if I’m not out at the diamond, I’m either at a meeting raising hell about the mismanagement of federal Head Start funds or at Girl Scouts. I know it’s good for the kids to have activities and I know I’ll get used to running all the time, but boy just starting all of this at once… I’m not complaining, I enjoy watching the kids have a good time. So far it looks like Terry has a pretty decent pitch, but I don’t know anything about pitching. We’ll see how well he does with batting tonight. Cody and Sarah will start ground ball catches tonight, this will be their first official practice.
